Starfish Constructions: Reflecting on a Successful Year and Gearing Up for Growth

As we close the Financial Year 2023/24, we are excited to share our achievements and strategic vision for the coming year. Despite narrowly missing our projected turnover target of £20 million, achieving an impressive £18.8 million, Starfish Construction continuously demonstrates resilience and strength in the market.
Our success is built on impressive contract wins, the successful delivery of projects, the development of our integrated service divisions, and a robust sales pipeline. These elements provide a solid foundation for our future growth and the financial year ahead.

Key Objectives for 2024/25:

Expanding Revenue Streams: We are committed to growing our turnover and revenue streams at Manchester, Motherwell, and London Hubs.
Enhancing Market Presence: We will continue strengthening our foothold in traditional markets and the rapidly growing Façade sector, where we have seen substantial growth over the past seven years.
New Operational Hubs: Plans are underway to introduce new Operational Hubs in the Midlands, Yorkshire, and potentially the Southwest.
Client Retention and Acquisition: We aim to maintain strong relationships with existing clients while welcoming new clients into our portfolio.

Celebrating Our Internally Promoted Team Members

Recognising the dedication and hard work of our colleagues who have earned their promotions from within, highlighting their achievements and contributions to our organisation's success.

To support our continued growth and strengthen our organisational structure, we are delighted to announce a series of internal promotions that recognise the outstanding contributions and leadership of our team members.

Adam Denton-Beaumont has been appointed as Director (London & South Hub), leading operations and strategic development across the region. Joe Hulley assumes the role of Associate Director (Design & Technical), reflecting his expertise in driving design innovation and technical excellence. Robert Morgan has been promoted to Projects Director (London, Midlands & South), overseeing project delivery and client relationships across multiple regions. Joe Sheridan takes on the position of Associate Project Director (Traditional Roofing), continuing to enhance our reputation for quality and craftsmanship in this specialist discipline.

These appointments reflect our commitment to investing in our people and ensuring that our leadership structure continues to support sustainable growth and operational excellence across all divisions.

Adam Denton-Beaumont

Adam Denton-Beaumont will lead the growth and expansion of the London & South Hub, focusing on maximising our operations and income streams. Adam will continue to head our St. George's Island project while collaborating closely with our Sales & Marketing, Commercial, Technical Surveying, and Accounts & Admin teams.

Motherwell

Joe Hulley

Joe will oversee the Starfish Construction Design & Technical function, steering the anticipated exponential growth in Façade projects. Joe and his team will drive recruitment and training efforts to bolster our department.

London

Robert Morgan

Rob will manage projects across London, the Midlands, and the South. Rob's proven track record in delivering successful Façade projects will be pivotal in developing new opportunities and enhancing our project delivery capabilities.

Motherwell

Joe Sheridan

Joe will spearhead our Traditional Roofing projects, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of services. Joe's long-standing dedication and expertise will continue to be invaluable to our company's success.

Our five-year strategic development plan outlines an ambitious path for growth, with employee numbers expected to increase three to four times as we expand our operations and strengthen our presence across the UK. This growth reflects the continued trust of our clients and partners and the hard work of our dedicated teams.

As we evolve, our focus remains firmly on our people. The recent promotions highlight the exceptional talent within our organisation and the opportunities that arise from commitment and teamwork. We will continue to invest in developing our colleagues while attracting and training the best new talent in the industry.
