The warehouse survey identified the areas under the roof that required Asbestos Insulating Board removal. The warehouse is an ATEX-rated area due to the alcohol content of the whisky barrels, which are racked in sections to reach their level of maturity. We outline the process of working in a potentially combustible area and ensuring the safety of the product and operatives working below.
